YOU ARE LOVED

Happy Friday sisters!
 
I felt in my heart to say to you today that you are loved.
Yep, you are loved by a divine Father who cares for you immensely.
 
If you are a new believer, or unsure about God's love, then you might be feeling how I felt at the start. This loves sounds out of this world, this love doesn't sound like its for me, what kind of love is this??
His love hard for me was pretty hard to grasp. What was there to love? I disliked me most of the time! After really digging in deep in the word and receiving revelation of His love for us what when I began to understand:

THE LOVE OF GOD IS NOT LIKE ANY EARTHLY LOVE YOU COULD EXPERIENCE. GOD'S LOVE IS NOT A LOVE THAT YOU COULD RESONATE WITH BECAUSE THERE IS NO LOVE LIKE IT.

 
This love is not like a love you experience on earth. God's love is "agape". This is a love that died for us, despite our mess and mistakes (Romans 5:8). What other love is like that?!
 
I don’t know how you see yourself sis, what people have said to you or how they have treated you. I don't know your past – but know that NONE of that alters or affects God's love for you. There is no place so dark and deep that God's love can't pull you out from.
When we say yes to God and begin walking with Jesus, He sees us without blemish and free from accusation (Colossians 1:21-22). How amazing is that? We are without fault in His eyes, we are His treasure and beloved bride.
 
Recognise that you are a beloved daughter of the KING of kings, the sovereign Lord. The creator of the stars, galaxies, oceans and earth. He created and cherishes YOU. Walk in that truth today and every day.

LEARNING FROM SEASONS: MALACHI 3:6

Hey sisters, Hope you're all enjoying the festivities that come with this time of year! Ok ok I have to admit, I'm such a winter baby. I'm all about the cooler weather, winter fashion, the aesthetic and of course CHRISTMAS. One thing I also love about this time of the year is the transition of season from winter to spring; flowers blossoming and the change in weather. It has always been a reminder to me of seasons of life. Life consists of so many seasons, some good and some more difficult. One thing we can be certain of however: Seasons change, the world is changing everyday but God NEVER changes. He is true to His word and His promises. KNOWING HIM: DELIVERER

I just love reading about the different people in the bible that God delivered from all sorts of complex, difficult situations. For example, there was Paul and Silas who God delivered from prison (see Acts 16:23-26). There was also Daniel in the lion's den, whom God delivered from certain death by keeping the mouths of the lions shut! God also delivered David from afflictions; to be precise the mouth of the lion and the paw of a bear! (see 1 Samuel 17:37). These are just some of many stories that you can read about where God came through and brought them out the other side.  God is indeed a deliverer. Just like so many people in the bible, we will all face affliction at some point or another. Where we are hit with a brick wall and we think "now what?".
