Philippians 4:19 ACCORDING TO HIS RICHES IN GLORY

Hi Sisters,

I received some revelation over this past week regarding this specific scripture as I read through Philippians. I thought I would share with you as we go into a brand new year!

 

"And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus" Philippians 4:19 New King James Version (NKJV)

When we thing of God supplying our needs, we might come across this and think of supplying money, material as the “need”. This might be the case. There might be material items/resources that we are praying for, but God can fill a need much deeper than that.

Here's the thing: God can fill a need that we are starved from and might not even realise. His riches are more than material; they are answers, wisdom and revelation.

These are the riches that He wants to give us today.

If you are concerned about the future or what tomorrow holds, He wants to give you His strength and comfort.

If you are having problems concerning family, He wants to help in healing and restoration.

He wants to give wisdom and guidance during a job interview so you know what to say.

If you’re stuck in what seems like a dead end, God wants to provide the breakthrough.

See what I mean by the deeper need? Life can have some difficult seasons but the GOOD NEWS is that He doesn’t want us to face them alone! Not only are we to do life with this awesome God, He also has blessed us with His riches and glory that is made accessible to us through Christ.

Be encouraged, that our God can supply what we need and lack, He is a good Father.
